I am so thrilled to blog this Hillsboro, Oregon family session! When these dear friends asked to have me take their family photos, I couldn’t have been more excited! This family is just the sweetest and I’m honored to call them friends. We’ve known each other for years, actually it’s crazy to think that I’ve known them for almost eight years, since before these kiddos were even born! How fun is that!

And want to know a secret? I’d been dreaming of taking their photos for quite a while! I mean look at this beautiful family, such a dream to photograph! So you can imagine my thrill when they asked me to take these photos for them!

That reminds me, this mama printed these and hung them at the top of her stairs. That right there makes a photographer’s heart very very happy! I cried happy tears when she sent me a photo of them hanging on her wall. It makes my heart smile just looking back on this session, and I hope they smile whenever they see them hanging on their wall as they go upstairs to bed each night.
